Waste tracking is part of the yard flow.
The operator records what arrived while the load is still on the bridge: the weight, what was actually in the skip, and which EWC code each part goes under. The office sees what is ready for Defra, what is held and why, and what came back rejected — without opening a spreadsheet to find out.
